H2O by Juan Colas is a stunning card magic trick where the cards impossibly separate by color. Unlike most gimmick tricks, H2O allows for a relaxed and confident performance. You hand the cards to the spectator at the beginning, allowing them to examine everything.

The phases build in impossibility. You begin by mixing the cards face down, then face up. No matter how you mix them, the black cards separate from the red cards. For the finale, you hold the card in your hand, and they mix (and unmix) the cards without you even doing anything.

Juan teaches several handlings and variations, ensuring you find the perfect approach for your style.

You’ll also learn how to make the gimmicks using any deck you own. You will need a basic gimmick-making item. If you’ve ever made a card gimmick or gaff deck before, you probably already own it.

Even if you don’t, a top-notch gimmick-making item is supplied (if selected). If you’re not sure what it is, we suggest getting the gimmick anyway. You won’t just use it for H2O – you’ll use it for a lot of your magic.

With other tricks, when you’re holding a gimmick, you may be scared that the spectator will see something… So you rush through your performance, or grab on tight, to make sure the gimmick’s can’t be seen.

With H2O, you get a care-free, light touch. The magic happens right under their nose, with cards they felt. It’s effortless to perform – and it’s magical to witness.
