- Three Aces of Diamonds and an Ace of Clubs are displayed, inviting the spectator to track the black Ace.
- One red Ace is set aside, face down, while the black Ace is placed between the other two red Aces.
- Mysteriously, when revealed, all three cards are red Aces, with the black Ace found on the table!
- The routine repeats, and once again, the spectator is misled—this time, guessing the black Ace is on the table only to find it’s a red one, and now, the other three cards have turned into black Aces!

Knockout version of an Australian Monte Game! The performer displays three Aces of Diamonds and an Ace of Clubs, asking the spectator to follow the black Ace. One red Ace is laid aside face down and the black Ace is put between the other two red Aces. The spectator fails to follow the black Ace because when the three cards are shown, they’re ALL RED ACES and the black Ace is on the table! The entire routine is repeated-but again the spectator is wrong! The third time the spectator guesses the black Ace is on the table, but it’s really a red one . . . and the other three cards are now ALL BLACK ACES!
